Our Breakfast Club

Twenty somethings review
breakfast places in Perth

Who are we?

David

is 21 and likes tea. He’s a freelance publicist for the arts. He’s the token vegetarian and is a sucker for scrambled eggs. He enjoys a soy flat white, sometimes two. He’d be a vegan if it weren’t for cheese – although he avoids animal rennet as best he can.

Jeffrey

is a 24-year-old theatre maker and artist. In early 2010 he packed up and moved to Sydney to study postgraduate directing at NIDA, so he is with the breakfast club in spirit. We can’t wait to have him back at the table and we miss him dearly.

Michelle

drinks a long black, always. As of March 2010, Michelle lives in Sydney. She’ll be back and forth to her second home of Perth, and we love having her back for breakfast adventures.

Natalie

is a 24-year-old theatre maker and actor. In the mornings she becomes a grump without a caffeine injection. She likes muesli when she is feeling guilty and a whole lot of milk and butter the rest of the time. She is always late for breakfast and she always orders a long mac, topped up.

Susannah

usually orders orange juice and will mark down if it doesn’t come with ice. She enjoys eggs benedict. Susannah lives in Berlin as of May 2010. We miss her dearly and she tells us that breakfasts just aren’t the same in Deutschland.

Guest bloggers

Guest bloggers come and go. So far, we’ve enjoyed the company of Amanda, Arielle, Arran, Jessica, Jetro, Julia, Laura, Nadia, Oda, Sarah, Stacey, and Tim; some more regular than others, but we love them all the same.
